It's important to note that they don't allow Tethering on other plans unless you have the "Internet Max" (2GB) add on.

I also heard this, however, I'm on a £10/month (300 mins/3000 texts/1gb data) plan and I tether occasionally and have never been hit by charges :confused:
 
I have the 12month, 600 mins,1gb, sim only contract (£12 per month). You can tether with that. Use it everyday on my commute (tether phone to iPad and works flawlessly. I'm a big fan!

I belive it's against the terms and conditions to tether on a non-one Plan contract without an add on. They heavily throttle users they find doing so, I have heard.

No that's not true. The only unlimited plan you can tether with is the one plan. You can tether with all their 1Gb plans.

Oh no, actually your totally right! I've had mine for a year and when I got it it specifically said you could tether (they had a quite humorously worded t&c). Current plan they offer is a very good deal though even with the tethering bolt-on (£17 for 600mins, 3gb).
