So after looking at some other threads, I'm interested to see what carriers everyone are on. You can specify if you're PAYG or Pay Monthly below and your plan if you want.

I'm on 3 PAYG, with the All in One 15 add-on.

Im on the same -very good, never had any problems. Customer Service is a bit of a bind though - Indian call centre and I had to convince them there was such a thing as a microsim when I moved to them.

PAYG on GiffGaff too!

The £10 goodybag unbeatable. I love that it's PAYG so if i go on holiday or working abroad I just don't pay anything for that month.

If you want a GiffGaff sim PM me and you can get one with £5 credit on it! ;)

Oh GiffGaff runs on o2 network so whatever reception O2 gets, GiffGaff gets too!

GiffGaff does more than run on O2's network - it's a wholly owned subsidiary of O2 and was setup by them as an experiment in alternative marketing and support strategies.

Giffgaff. £10 for 250 mins, unlimited texts and unlimited internet is a bargain! Let alone there's not even a minimum term with it.

O2 Simplicity £20($32). 600mins, 1200txts, Unltd Data (i've gone past 4GB once), discounted roaming, Free Visual VM, Wi-Fi & Call Conf.

I'm on 3's One Plan.

£25 per month, for 2000 minutes, 5000 texts (wasted on me), 5000 3 to 3 minutes (also wasted on me) and unlimited data.

Very pleased so far and loving the ability to tether to other devices at no extra cost.

T-mobile, unlimited minutes, unlimited texts, unlimited data, tethering. £30/month (with the F&F discount).

To those on Giffgaff, how is your 3G internet speed? I tried a stint on Giffgaff but found the data speeds to be dog slow (in and around London), and read somewhere their data speeds are somehow limited because they're an MVNO? It's a shame because I'd love to be able to use Giffgaff - excellent prices and I like the company's philosophy.

I voted 3 because I find them to have the most reliable data connectivity and best prices, though not great customer service.

I think it's now available on all 5 UK networks-Vodafone, O2, 3, T-Mobile and Orange, but some people will be on SIM only deals (Giff Gaff, Asda, Tesco for example).

Still, with that being said, the US only has 2 GSM carriers and it's about to be merged into one. We have a bunch of CDMA carriers (though the only one with the iPhone is Verizon).

I'm on Vodafone, the network is just such high quality, rarely without signal.

O2 Pay & Go

Unlimited Simplicity Tarrif - 12,000 texts to any network and 500MB internet for £15.

Good to see, not many people clogging up the T-mobile network. :D

1200 minutes, Unlimited (real unlimited) texts, 3GB internet.
£23/month.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_3_3 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8J2 Safari/6533.18.5)

Im on o2 have been since the first iPhone, just diff contract to wen I started, now on family business plan, unlimited calls and texts, 500mb of data for £8/month:)

Further evidence how bad US carriers are screwing us--you guys have some great plans available to you.

On AT&T, I pay $75 (not including taxes/fees), or about £47 a month for 450 anytime min, unlimited mobile to mobile (AT&T only), 5000 night and weekend minutes, 200 text messages, and unlimited data (not even offered any longer)
