I think this might help.

Before this thread I really didn't notice any excessive battery draw, but since my post above I took notice of when I was actually charging and for how long it lasted etc.

It appeared I had about 25% faster discharge than what I remember having (usually I could go almost 2 full days without having to throttle my usage).

I observed needing to charge about 5 hours sooner.

Yesterday I rec'd my new iPhone so I migrated from the old and the watch did its thing, which I think is a reset?

Today it appears it is back to "normal" about 25-30% drain per 12 hour period. AOD on, cellular, 3 daily walks, audiobooks, etc.

Yeah gonna have to try. Did you do a clean install with your phone - meaning no back up, set up as new. Part of me wonders if the iPhone is having some kind of weird draw.
My watch isn’t on cellular and has Siri turned off and I’m having more draw than you.

No I just followed the normal migration path when getting a new phone, although on the watch it appears to be resetting it... ie you get the big progress loop around the watch face....i don't really know what it does lol

So even with a clean install, I can’t get the weather app to work.

Will create a new thread regarding that I guess.

So here is some current battery life data. Last charge to 100% 9:43PM on Oct 11 2023
Currently sitting at 12%,

So nearly 40 hours with 12% left.

That's pretty good. I'll try again by putting my weather complication back on my watch face and see what it does.

I’ve reset my location/privacy settings and that fixed my weather app issue and any weather app drain.

I still don’t get great battery life compared to watchOS9 but it’s better.

The thing I’m trying to solve now is when I’m sleeping, using one of the watch faces that does the nightmode red, I’m still getting a 25% battery drain. I don’t know why it’s causing that much drain - I sleep for maybe 6-7 hours.

It doesn’t seem consistent on my Ultra. Sometimes it will use about 5% during sleep, and sometimes it use 10% or more. I’m not sure why. I don’t change much hardly ever.
