requires password on restart

This is a great app for mac even better than smcfan control, but I think if you can make it no need to enter the user password every time when it open will be perfect.

Can this be turned off? I mean, not having to insert password everytime I start my mac?

Yeah, I was going to ask about that. Why does it always require a password and it won't allow launching at start? Thanks for the application, it's amazing!

Is it just me, or does Ultrafan not work properly if you wake your Macbook up after putting it to sleep for 24hrs? The computer was exceeding the target temperature but the fans weren't kicking in.

The only solution was to quit Ultrafan then running it again which asked me for my password again. I am running Snow Leopard.

I stopped using UltraFan and started using Macs Fan Control. More control and active development. If you do switch, make sure you stop any other fan control programs, and be best to reset your SMC.

* Feedback - the settings window doesn't close unless clicking on the menu bar icon in 10.7.5 - maybe this is a nuance of the app running on this OS?

Would be cool if it closed menu when clicking anywhere outside that menu window.

For the reasons below (and some already mentioned) the free Macs Fan app is a better choice.

--Ultra Fan causes dozens of error message a minute (open Console, Files, System.log to see them)

--Password still required on startup

--Developer MIA

Macs Fan is also far more customizable.
