My device got stuck in a bootloop and I had to put it in restore mode to fix it, and iTunes auto updated to 7.1 so I'm missing out of the theme and the tweaks I just paid 10 dollars for.

Oh well, let's hope that 7.1 gets jailbroken...

Otherwise, take your time with 2.0 and don't rush it.

It's been a while since your last update. Any news on when the new version including the smaller icons for notifications etc is due for release?

Edit: just saw that you said you have exams. Hope they went/will go well!

Unfortunately UltraFlat was sort of discontinued. I've been working on an adaptation of UltraFlat pretty much since it released, and in the last month or so that ended up taking over. Almost all of the work for 2.0 ended up being reworked into this new theme.

Sorry guys, but I kind of moved on from flat design. The release of the flat wallpapers I'd made was the tipping point; flat icons just weren't working for me anymore, and the fact that I had to make specific wallpapers to get them to look good on all devices rectified this. I want to make themes that work 'out-of-the-box', where there is no setup required to have the best experience. With UltraFlat, you had to change the wallpaper and disable the Parallax effect. I feel users shouldn't have to do that just so they can enjoy using their device.

So what is this new theme? It's called Consilium (Latin for 'design'), and is being released on Cydia hopefully in the next week or so. It's gonna cost 99c, but those who have followed/supported UltraFlat quite a bit will get a free copy. That's anyone who donated, plus a few others (chrf097, ThatElijahGuy, pickaxe, 3bs, thedeejay). You can read about it on the post I made on /r/iOSthemes a few days ago. Screenshots here.

Again, I'm really sorry for doing this. I don't like having to disappoint you guys like this, but I feel I have to move on from UltraFlat.

Oh, and exams went kinda well. I've still got two more in a couple of weeks, but they should be fine! They ended up delaying work on both themes, hence why it's been so long since I said anything.

I like it! Is it going to be a full theme or just home screen icons though?

Icons themed system-wide (Home Screen, NC, Spotlight, Settings), with one or two minor UI tweaks within apps. I'm designing it with iOS 7, in an effort to improve the current experience rather than completely rethink it, so UI doesn't look any different.

Also, full 7.0 and 7.1 (b1-3) support, meaning every icon is themed everywhere in any jailbreak-able version of iOS 7. The only exception is in Siri, but Jato_BZ is making some progress there.

I love the new theme to be honest.
As I had accidentally got my device stuck in a bootloop, I had to go to 7.1.

This is a good place to start after iOS 8 is jailbroken, also WWDC is upcoming really soon, might want to tune in online!

Bad news: ModMyi rejected the theme. I don't get why they reject themes like Gleam or Consilium, but yet accept the same crappy themes just in different colours at prices like $3.

Good news: like imeyeless's Gleam, Consilium has been submitted to MacCiti instead. They apparently accept nearly anything and release quite quickly, so expect a release within the next few days.

iOS 7 wasn't ever supposed to be 'flat'. It was designed with depth, to "give users a sense of their context". It does so using layers with bold, block colours, hence why people often mistake it for flat design. Granted, some of the icons are flat, but the OS as a whole just isn't.

Now that I've cleared that up, Photobucket teaser for Consilium :D

We're in business, and just before WWDC!
Consilium is now available for 99c. Thanks to everyone who made this possible!
