I think that might be an older one, not sure though. When did you buy yours? The newer panels went in around mid-March/April I think.

April 12th, refurbished though.

the 9C9F screen in my 13" MBP is beautiful, thats the only reason i never bought a CE MB, just the thought of a 9C89 made me cringe. Luckily they updated it, and my screen looks as good as my friends 9C95 in his 15.4MBP.

here are a few pictures of my screen 9CA8, wonder how much better the MBP's are?

My sister's Collector's Edition uMB has that display, and it's very good. Evenly lit, excellent viewing angles, nice color, dark blacks and white whites, and bright. It would be logical to assume that it's this display that has gone into the new 13" uMBPs, but the new ones might also use displays from more than one source.
