uMBP-to-36" HD Plasma with sound

Ive got the 17" uMBP, and want to be able to watch my downloaded films on my plasma. obv i need a converter for mini video port to dvi, and then i assmume a dvi-hdmi cable. But what about sound?

You have to run sound from the digital optical port.

Mini-stereo plug to R/L RCA plugs.

If it has optical, you could get a 1/8" to TOSLINK adapter, but it's probably not worth the effort for TV speakers.

The Mini Display port CAN run audio but it's not enabled by Apple.
