Unable to Update to Watch OS3

My iPhone is currently on iOS 10.0.1 Beta Gold Master.

Should I be able to update to Watch OS3? When I check for update I get Watch OS 2.2.2 is up to date.

Anyone else on Beta getting this ?

I'm in the exact same situation, wondering if the beta is what's causing the issue.

I'm sure we should be able too as the Beta version is the final release version.

I'm on 10.0.1 final release and the watch is currently upgrading. I checked for the update at 13:04 EDT and there it was.

Of course, it's only about 2/3 through and seems to have stalled... so there's that.

I couldn't see the Update, then I deleted the beta profile on my watch and restarted it, then the Update came up 🙂

I don't have Watch beta Profile on my watch ! or do you mean you delete from iPhone ?

No i deleted it from my watch, the beta description.
Watch app on the iPhone->general->descriptions

I think it is that Way🙂.

Removing the iOS Beta Profile from the watch fixed it for me too. 🙂

Came up for me right away. I'm on "Downloading to watch". Says I only have 3 hours to go, lol.

I also removed Beta profile from the iPhone and restarted both devices.

Nothing to do with beta. I haven't ever had beta on my iphone 6+ and it says "up to date"

This worked for me as well. Deleted both beta profiles, restarted both devices.

I'm running iOS 10.0.1 GM and downloaded the Watch OS 3, but the download is stuck in "Preparing" loop. Anyone else having the same issue?

the 3 hours to go estimate is actually accurate lol.
I'm 2 hours in and it now says 60 minutes to go.

Well, still no luck. I've deleted the beta profile from my 6s Plus and restarted both my watch and phone. Oh well I'll just have to wait.

when you press install there is a progress bar on your iphone's apple watch app

I'm tempted to restore and remove the entire beta profile from the Phone by installing back to the standard release.

Had the same issue as many of you as well. Here's what worked for me

1. Remove beta profile on both iPhone and Watch
2. Restart both devices
3. Check for updates (took a while though and the app even said that it couldn't find the watch, at first)
