Actually, in absolute darkness, the light emitted by the screen will make your face reflect in it, especially if you wear glasses. :p

You don't have Apple approved "Made for glossy, works with others" matte glasses? ;)

I typically buy a new computer every year or two. What's funny is that apple is actually making me keep my 13" white macbook longer by not offering a matte 13" uMBP. The glare on the non-glass screen is unimpressive enough. The glare on the glass-screen models is a joke. When apple starts to care about form AND function, I'll buy a new computer. My money is sitting in the bank, waiting for a 13" matte screen. Apple, are you listening?

I don't know how you guys can use your computers on 1 notch of brightness. Mine stays all the way up, all of the time. That still let's me watch 2 movies before I need a recharge.

Well I need 1 notch of brightness because I'm on campus all day 7+ hours and if its any higher than 1, it usually gets 2-3 hours less battery life (say around half brightness or a little more so that I can over come the glare and comfortably see).
