It's an evolution of a product, apart from retina, I can't remember the last OMG feature at was a must upgrade, I suppose the larger iPhone some...

It's like an Intel processor ..... Tick tock tick tock...

Wrong forum to say something bad.. Hah!

But yeah, underwhelmed or more like disappointed describes what i feel. Why didnt they add ois to 6s? Why? That is why im quite disappointed. If it had ois then i would get it imnediately, but it hasnt... So im reconsidering if there is any valid point to buy 6s and the 6s+ which has ois is too big.

So Today 9-22 one person gets their 6s Early and all embargos get lifted coincidence ?? Hmm or part of the embargo terms (other people posting everyone gets to post terms)

Anyways. You guys are more than capable of going on YouTube and Hitting the Today Filter.

So far all the reviews go like this.

#1. Only Apple Apps and a few 3rd party support 3D Force Touch you don't need it and you forget its there.
#2. if you got a 16GB version you are skrewed. Live Photos take up alot of memory
#3. Its a great phone But it already was.

No oomph no hype, no OMG this is amazing. Just pffft.

so in one word Underwhelmed.

PS there seems to be a brewing controversy about 4K video quality, I'm coining the phrases CameraGate and 4KGate. Twitter hashtags will be up soon.

Note 5 theres no Lag. Glad I upgraded much more Freedom on Android. Currently playing all my N64 and SNES favorites games.

Not something we can do on iPhone 6

You know, I used to love Samsung. That Note 5... Ha. No SD card, no removable battery, no 128GB on launch, looks exactly like an iPhone. Add in Samsung's great idea to "Lease phones" after Apple introduced that same idea.

And I think basically the Note 5 is an Android skinned iPhone with hyped up specs in an attempt to impress the Apple crowd.

I own Apple iPhone's, Windows phones, BlackBerry phones, Android phones... And I've gotta say..

Samsung lost all my respect. Blatantly copying, taking away features that made them what I loved, add that into the fact that certain variants will be bricked just from being rooted and I'm over it.

Who cares about Samdung anymore?

I'm waiting for my 6s. When I'm ready to replace my Note 3, I'll go find some Android for half the price of Samsung with the same darn features the Note 5 should have had. /Rant over.

And in some of those same reviews claim it's the best phone out there

Sadly all this thread comes off like is a troll thread. If it's not for you cool...but for millions it will be perfect.

Well, that's relative to the user. There is no such thing as the best phone out there. My work phone is a Blackberry Passport, I really like it and it does and has features that just aren't on the iPhone 6s, is it the best phone, to me it is, others, most likely not, especially people around here. My private phone is actually split up among three phones, a Nokia 808 Pureview for photos, Nokia N950 running Sail Fish (which is still my favorite phone of all time) and the new One Plus Two in which I really like. Are they the best, probably not, they are to me though. All relative.

Agreed

Reason I left apple for Samsung was due to screen size, SD cards and removeable. Without that you are on a level playing field with apple so if everything is even then i simply can’t choose Samsung due to the lag and issues i generally have now.

Guess you never downloaded GBA4iOS, an emulator that does NOT require a jailbreak, among others. Cheers.

Its an "S" model. Not sure what you were expecting. The "S" is now just a signature upgrade from the previous years model. Its not expected to be mindblowingly huge.

OP, you are making a bad name for yourself on this forum. Better wise up. Stay with Android, but you better read there forums as I did, and its not a pretty site with all of there issues.

Just wait a few months. The lags will slowly creep up. And the bugs will soon to appear. Then you're screwed! Happened to my Note 4 and one of the reasons why I'm switching back. I'd rather have usability and reliability than "freedom."

Yep, to be fair, it is hard for Apple to beat the change that was last year.

For me, going to a 6 Plus to a 6S Plus is not a huge deal and I can happily wait to do a walk up when they are in stock.

For everything right they do (finally 2GB), they continue to trip up (16gb models, 6s still using iPhone 4 resolution)

I wanted to see screen improvements, inductive charging options, better battery life.

Apple seems to care about things that don't make my top 5 (thinness and camera).
I would take a phone that is a millimeter thicker if I could get 2 days battery life and a flush camera.

Instead, they reduce battery and rely on the ios for power efficiencies.
That may work when you start it up brand new but in the real world, that ios efficiency will go away.
