I just switched from a BB Bold 9000. I had 2 before that. The main reason is that my work did not allow anything else. They now allow iphones and Droids to connect to our Exchange server. Some things my BB did better.

1. BBM. iPhone texting is not the same. BBM is part of your data plan and is instant communication between to BBs. Some people do not have unlimited texting. Also, BBM shows when your message has been delivered and also read by the recipient.
2. Auto-text. I miss typing the letter u with a space and having "you" automatically inserted.
3. I can't think of a third thing. That is why I am loving my new iphone.
The main reasons companies go with BB is for security and also to control what is allowed. Most companies control what can be installed. They can also monitor everything on the device if they want to and push apps to all of their users.

Research in Motion needs to refine the Blackberry as THE corporate device. Take out the ********. Take out the app store, make it a mean email and tasking machine.

Then come out with a consumer device. Call it the Strawberry. Or the Blueberry, or the Peach, or some other name. And throw in all the personalization, social networking, and app-store stuff you want. But don't call it a Blackberry.

/end rant.
Who would buy a Blackberry that can only do email when they could buy an Strawberry which does all that but more? In fact that's the exact same problem they have right now against the iPhone.
