Recently the Safari 4 has proven to be a headache, not only in performance for PPC machines (still a theory) but also as conflicting with the install to other software products such as http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/497/cpsid_49755.html Adobe's Creative Suite 3 which expressly states: You don't meet the minimum system requirements for installing the Creative Suite CS4, and you have installed Safari 4.0.

This isn't a PEBKAC issue, it's a real issue with the software and it's all over the net. The fact that Apple hasn't provided an uninstaller is a rather large oversight and extremely annoying to those of us who would like the option to uninstall it without having to archive and reinstall.

Overall, it's a problem and people should stop trying to sweep it under the rug with their wishes that it weren't the case. As a 25 year Apple fan, I assure you, I'm not being disloyal, just trying to get to the bottom of a sticky situation.
