Rosetta is not the main issue now. I'm an old guy and have a Garmin Venu X1. I rely heavily on Garmin Express for my exercise routine. Yesterday, I found the Update to Garmin Express V7.29. I am running V7.28 that I installed on my Previous 2019 Mac Pro and moved over to my 2023 M2 Ultra Mac Pro. When I ran the 7.29 installer, it came up with this:

I contacted Garmin Support by phone and spent about 30 mins on the phone with a Garmin rep. She said I should have an answer on Monday.

We are a Garmin family and I can say that I very rarely use Garmin Express - on the order of once a year or less often these days. You can use your phone to do almost everything. The main exception is map files.

I do have a Garmin Nuvi and Garmin Express is needed to update it.

My approach going forward on programs that won't be ported (at least as far as we know) is to run them on a Windows PC or Mac running Windows. My current list is TurboTax, Fidelity Active Trader Pro and, now, maybe Garmin Express.

A solution for running Garmin Express may be to use a VMWare, UTM or Parallels virtual machine to run Windows on.
