why university students would get them before regular consumers is interesting.

I forgot, how do you get EXIF data again?

EDIT: found out how to get EXIF data, but this pic has none. 🙁

Ye most likely HP, not Apple. Its right at the bottom and is near enough cut out. It's an older picture due to the iPods in it.

Being at the bottom it is pretty much cut out totally, but I think cutting it all out would just leave that guys head and him looking down, it would make him look asleep as you can't tell what he is looking down at and doing...not a good way to promote products in a case study by having someone (appear to be) asleep in the picture! So maybe they just cut out as much as they could without ruining the shot.

It doesn't look very Apple in design to me to be honest and does look too similar to HP/Compaq tablets.

The article references a 2004 timeframe. Do you really think that Apple would have a tablet out in the wild for a year and a half with no one noticing?

Nothing to see here...

as much as i'd love it to be an apple tablet, im sure that it is just a slip up with a PC tablet in the photo😱
Or maybe it's a hint. I mean that girl writing on that white notepad...that could be Apple's new creation as well!

You heard it here first kids.

It looks to me just like my HP/Compaq TC1000.

Probably just a regular old PDA/tablet from another company, but it would be cool if it were a all in one iPod that was a media hub for pics, music, podcasts, calendar, office organization, etc. Sort of a iPod PDA.
