You wouldn't of had the other 99 emails if you responded to the 1st one.

I was offering a better customer service experience. One you don't seem to care about or provide. Whether a reseller has 1 order or 1,000, I treat them all with respect.

None of my codes come from you. I offer services which appear days later on your website...whose buying from who?

What does "INSTANT" service prove? Nothing.

Claiming you are "direct" for any network is a dime a dozen these days. Do I need to offer At&t unlocks for free?

It's obvious how you treat your customers and how bad of an attitude you have. Not only by the responses on this forum, but from other resellers in this business. (Your brother included)

Best of luck to you, it's never too late to change. ;)

They don't have customer service. If you used them during their ebay days you'd know.

I used them a ton (over 50 a month) and once got a wrong code for an HTC inspire. Made the video to show them that it didn't work. He only offered to refund half or less. I said no way, I didn't pay 15 bucks (or 8) for a wrong code.
He threw a hissy fit and blocked me from buying from him again.

Anyways there are a ton of other providers out there who have the EXACT same service for less. Everyone advertises direct, only one or two actually are. PM me if you want who I use. I get them for 1.25 now.

As the person above me said, he is running a business, he should attend all of his customers and if he is annoyed by a customer he should never state it. It's not very professional.

I hear you but its up to him how he wants to react when someone badmouths him in public.
There's tons of info on his site and a page with FAQ's on how the unlock works and when, what steps need to be followed and what needs to be done for the unlock to complete. But you know how some people are. They don't read any of that and are very impatient.
Oh its been 6 hours and usually he's faster or he's a half hour late and things like that. Like he's really going to rip someone off for $2 after thousands of satisfied customers.

SwiftUnlocks new instant service is great! Already used a few times and the iphones were unlocked within 5 minutes! The price is really good too

I'm sure.
He's off hiding with your $2.
He scored big:)

Terrible attempt at sarcasm.

Some people are just cheap, what can you do? I was just as surprised that that big a seller threw a fit over 2-5 dollars. Why should I pay a penny if the unlock code provided doesn't work?

This is a fascinating thread. If there really are just one or two people who have direct access to unlock the phones, I know I wouldn't charge $2. I'd be charging something worth my while like $50 for an instant unlock.

invalid sim?

Sorry to ask such a dumb question. just placed an order with swiftunlocks and now awaiting for my code to unlock my AT&T iphone 4s.
Trying to read the steps following the unlock code and it says that I'd need to put an "invalid sim" into the iphone to connect to itune .... What does it mean an invalid sim? Can I just take the sim out and leave the tray empty or I need to go get another carrier's sim to put in? Do I need to buy a sim from somewhere?

thank you for your help

Don't expect to make any money.

At&t iPhone Factory Unlocks have been a "bear market" since it has started. Sellers are offering instant unlocks at the price of $2 now.

An invalid sim is any other sim card besides an At&t one. Just do a restore in iTunes. iTunes will show a message saying your iPhone is unlocked after the restore.

sorry, but to clarity, I will need to go get a SIM from other carrier in order to finish the process? or it's not necessary if I just do restore in iTunes? Do I need to take my current ATT sim out before I do restore?

thank you

I just used an AT&T sim as I had no other sim card available at the time. It worked perfectly.

I see, so I can just leave the phone as is now, wait for the code and plug in to restore with itune later and not have to worry about taking the sim out or swapping sims, is that right?

I just want to make sure that I don't screw up the process and not able to unlock it after all :)

Thank you.

Don't worry if you got an unlock confirmation it will always be unlocked! The worst case I can imagine is you having to restore again when you decide to use a SIM that is not from at&t

----------

I always wanted to know this: the price for the unlock varies a LOT depending on the carrier you want to unlock. I'm guessing AT&T is the cheapest one being possible to find for just over $1 and maybe even less but some other carriers like SoftBank (Japan) it can cost almost $200 and it takes about a week to unlock! Why is that?

less than 5 hours

Just want to report back that in less than 5 hours, I received email from Swiftunlocks saying my phone is unlocked. And I purchased the regular service, not the express.

Thank you so much!

Supply and Demand/The number of sources.

JUST an update on thread. There are some haters in business. Many people making up extra info just because I am the biggest unlocker and the most reliable.

Our instant service is instant and returns in minutes (something others cant compete)

Even our express and slower services for AT&T iphone is way superior.

We even work holidays including today and have delivered all orders till date on time except for a few apple server issues.

regards

JUST an update:

All competitors must be haters, right.

I will go imei for imei with Swift and I guarantee I can beat or match his speeds AND beat his prices.

JUST an update.

Looks like swiftunlocks is down again. Paid for an instant unlock and as of 2hrs it's still not unlocked.

I do not really get why people complain because of 2 hours ... anything can happen, you know .... this is not an easy business, the delivery time changes with mood / time / number of customers / and so much more ... its not easy to handle (and impossible for the $1 you pay for the unlock)

You must understand that. There are certainly delays on my site too, but we do our best same as swiftunlocks do.

SwiftUnlocks

After reading the mixed reviews I was a little hesitant on using this services, but with it's cheap price I decided to give it a try anyway.

I just recently made the purchase and I am happy to report that everything was as advertised. The package I selected ($5 for 15 minute delivery) delivered my unlock message within 2 minutes of purchase. From there everything was simple. I followed the steps and soon after I had an unlocked iPhone.

Just a note, I live in Dubai, so my purchase time wasn't during the peek times of services, so my quick results could be due to that fact. Either way, I would recommend their service.

I went with swiftunlocks because of the good reviews they get on the internet but it has been 8 days since I placed my order and my phone is still not unlocked. I sent an email but have not heard back from them. I fell like I may have been ripped off so I just want to warn everyone. In my case it was a Rogers phone and it cost me $100 so those of you with Rogers may want to look elsewhere.

----------

wow as soon as I posted above I got an email saying my phone has been unlocked. So I guess Rogers phones just take a bit longer then others. What a relief :)
