Telus said it will be available early 2011 in november. There is no news about it since then. Since Rogers is doing it since dec 2010, i doubt that telus will retract.

hopefully all carriers will offer factory Unlocked phones then we could eliminate the need for software unlocks. if a device is out of contract then you should have the option of having it unlocked. I'm sure the Dev-team wouldn't mind no longer having to find unlocks.

i've got 4.2.1 with baseband 01.59.00 running.

I'm also using the untethered jailbreak redsn0w and it worked excellent.

I don't know why everyones panties are in a bunch.

I can unlock and I'm using an untethered jb. What more could you ask for?

Because some of us weren't lucky enough to receive an i4 when it was on 4.0-4.0.2

I managed to fix a broken i4 that was sadly updated to 4.1 before I received it, and now I've waited 3 months and looking at another 2 months until I can actually use it

It's pathetic, and couldn't agree more with the 4.2 and 4.3 arguments. It wouldn't be so bad if Sherif didn't send out little tweets giving false hope and making it sound like it was coming out on Christmas, then New years, then the 16th of January, and now it's taken Musclenerd to correct his false information and claim March for 4.3.

Oh well, I have to respect what they do, they are a group of very talented and nice hackers that I can only hope for the very best.
