I downloaded ipad 3.2.2 but it said it is waiting for reboot forever now...?
Ive tried it twice now, any suggestions.?

Im still unable to get ultrasn0w on my phone...thought it would be possible with ipad 3.2.2. but it isnt budging.

Start it over and it should work. Are you using PC or mac?

Jailbreaking with Redsn0w only installs Ipad baseband and putting Cydia onto your phone. You will then install ultrasn0w from Cydia.

I am in a similar situation and was wondering if anyone on this thread could help me out. I recently upgraded my sister's iphone 3G from 4.1 to 4.2.1 and am stuck with 05.15.04-5.9_M3S2 baseband and bootloader.

However, before I upgraded from 4.1 to 4.2.1, I saved the SHSH using TinyUmbrella. Does this help me at all? Can I downgrade the firmware to 4.1 and restore the original baseband with the SHSH I saved?

Saving SHSH blobs allow you to downgrade/restore your phone to those saved firmware. Baseband is not downgrade able. The options you have is to go with iPad baseband if you want to unlock it or go with factory unlock where they charge $175 for. This method has been discussed in here in separate thread.
