An unreleased iPhone, an entry-level iPad, and what is likely to be the next-generation iPad Air have been imported into India ahead of their expected announcement this spring.

Last month, Apple filed two new iPad models and one new iPhone in the Eurasian Economic Commission database with model numbers that do not correlate with any currently released product. Those same model numbers have since been cross-referenced by "industry sources" cited in a new 91mobiles report that indicates Apple has begun importing the devices into India for "testing purposes."

Apple is widely rumored to revamp several of its products in the spring, with the iPad Air and iPhone SE expected to receive modest updates. The iPad Air, Apple's mid-tier model starting at $599, is thought to be gaining 5G connectivity on cellular models, the A15 Bionic chip, and Center Stage support. The iPhone SE, which starts at $399, is expected to gain 5G support, the A15 Bionic, and the same 4.7-inch display as the current model.

so not one mac....since the imac and mac mini are coming at least after June...they should place the M1 pro and max with A15 cores and NOT the a14 cores that will be so old 6 months from now

A new base model iPad already? The 9th gen isn’t even 6 months old
The 2019 iPad Air chassis will probably be rebranded as the new 10th Gen with a 10.5” display and possibly updated CPU. I would be surprised if a flash was added to the rear and stereo speakers in landscape orientation.

The spring event isn’t gonna be exciting for the people that don’t like the entry level stuff, we have to wait till later, all this will be is budget iphone and iPads
Apple’s Spring Event is for the budget orientated buyer I suspect. iPad Pro being the outlier.

So there are two iPad models coming in spring as indicated by the model numbers registered… wonder what the entry level iPad will be, as surely it can’t be the base line as it’s only just been refreshed….

I am thinking maybe a mini version of the entry level iPad, a mini Pro (we heard rumours of a mini with promotion), or entry level could potentially be referring to an 11” iPad Pro with XDR coming but retaining the M1… it’s an entry Pro iPad after all.

If it just the new SE, new iPad Air and potentially new iPad why have an 'event' at all? The only updates these devices are getting are likely chip bumps, 5G support and Centre-Stage webcam which have all been introduced with previous devices at events. These devices are the sort of thing that has press release written all over them.
