Hiqup - Peg-Jumping Brain-Teasing :)

As others have announced their upcoming releases on this thread, hope it's OK if I do the same :)

It's called Hiqup and, if you're familiar with Hi-Q or peg solitaire then the basics will be familiar to you but Hiqup takes this further by introducing pieces that can only move in certain ways, bombs, teleports, jumpers and blackholes to make it more of a puzzler as well. There are 47 levels including 7 tutorial levels and there's an additional 10 classic peg solitaire levels if you want to play the old classic. There are three different types of board in the main game - boards where you have to remove as many pieces as possible, boards where you have to land your pieces into special spaces on the board and lastly time boards, where you have to complete boards in a given time limit. You can earn gold, silver and bronze medals on all the boards and it stores your best times etc.

It's currently waiting review by Apple and I'm hoping it will finally appear in the app store in the next week or so. It will be priced at $1.99.

More information (and a video of it in action) is here:

Line Rider!

Maybe this is why that line rider copy got taken down pretty quickly. I wish I grabbed it... Anyway, InXile is making an iPhone version.

When? i need more info on this... is InXile the same guy who made the flash game?

My app is now on the appstore as well -- it's a shoutcast client but has less features than Tuner, so it costs half as much. Get it here. You can add streams from your favorite stations -- that's sort of the point of it -- but it comes preloaded with a few to get you started. Version 1.1 is awaiting approval from Apple and fixes a couple of minor bugs.

Ouch. It seems like a fair price. And @reviewer rubik cubes are NOT cheaper than $3 :p. They are more like $15.

Yeah, I looked at the reviewers and all their reviews were negative. I guess your going to get those kinds of people. I did work hard on the app and its nothing trivial, especially for a first time Open GL developer. Already doing a second one.

New slick sound measuring app soon available!

Hi!

Just wanted to give you all a heads up on our upcoming app called Decibel. It measures the sound level using the built in microphone in the iPhone, and looks good doing so! :)

It will be available in the app store this week (hopefully today, monday). You can read more about it here:

Decibel by Gadget Frontier

It will be sold at the introductory price of just 99 cents (for a limited time)!

Update! Now available in the App Store

I figure I'll join in the festivities....

We've recently released Cram... a study and test preparation application. Cram allows you to keep detailed results of each test attempt including your score, which questions you got right/wrong.

Cram also features a complete web portal, where you can upload, create, manage, and share your tests, which you can import to Cram on your device.

Check out more details at: http://www.simpleleap.com/cram.htm
It's also in the store right now: http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=290024708&mt=8

Here's an idea, pezare, set up someplace where people can post their Decibel results at various sites or events (sports, airport runways, ...). Would be fun to compare what happens in the real world.

Thank you! And that is a really good idea! It might make it in for the next release. Hmm, should perhaps move this to another thread. Don't want to steal the "coming app" thread. :)

Here is a screenshot to my newest app. It is going to be a puzzle game like nothing (I've) ever seen before. More details will become available as I go.
