upcoming iPhone 6SE

Hi,

Is the upcoming iPhone 6SE likely to be better than the iPhone 6S? I've heard that the 6SE is not much different compared to the 6S, despite the rumours. However, I've been advised that the 6SE may well be the cheaper version of the 6S, just as the SE is a cheaper version of the 6.

Not sure whether it's worth the wait or not.
 
For starters, it's reported the new iPhone debuting in September will be labeled as the 'iPhone 7', which was reported by Macrumors on Wednesday.

Honestly, there are loads of leaks and information on the upcoming iPhone 7 on this site. To much to list here. I'm sure all your questions will be answered with the plethora of articles and threads on Macrumors and on the Internet for that matter.

The release of the iPhone 7 was postponed, I heard, until 2017. This is because Apple wants there to be a more special product released to celebrate their 10th anniversary along with the fact that there's nothing special about the new iPhone, hence the iPhone 7 about to be released in 2016 will instead be called the iPhone 6SE. Idk whether it's a rumour or an official announcement though?

Cool, if the thing about image optical stabilisation is true, I'll deffo wait, as I'd love a camera that produces sharp images without any blur.

Any idea as to what the price will be? £700 for the iPhone 7 and £800 for the 7 plus? ah!

I'm sure prices for the iPhone 7 will reflect last years starting prices for the 6s. And it depends on what storage capacity you choose.
 
I think you are confusing the fact that Apple is sticking with basically the same design for one more generation (with just a few tweaks... antenna bands and removal of headphone jack), but I haven't heard any (credible) rumours pointing to the iPhone being released in September being called the 6se. Based on the leaks I would suggest that the big improvements will be with the camera, but of course there will also be the requisite speed increases (a new A10 processor is basically guaranteed) and Apple may have a few surprises on release day (I personally am rooting for water proofing and longer battery life).

Yup, longer battery life was a rumour.

I watched a youtube video where the iPhone 7s hover above the ground when you drop them, but i believe those are rumours on a wish list of the poster, haha

Suggest you read Macrumors article about what the ip7 will likely have and then formulate your questions.

Currently, I am interested in the 4.7 iPhone 7, maybe in Space Black if it's offered. Otherwise, Space Gray in the 64 GB. Looking forward to the KeyNote.

I know you plan on waiting until the Tenth Anniversary iPhone. I will let you know if I like the iPhone 7 when I receive it.

Who said there was going to be a iPhone6SE? For all we know they could just have a iPhone 7/iPhone 7 Plus.
 
There is probably not going to be an iPhone 6SE, it will be the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus. The leaked features seem to be a bigger and better camera for the 7 and a dual lens camera for the 7 Plus, i think people are underestimating these features and i think the dual lens will be a nice upgrade. Other things that are rumoured include, 3D Touch home button with haptic feedback, possible water resistant, 256GB option and a nice Space Black option. Personally i think this will be a great upgrade for those of us who are currently using the 6 or 6 Plus. I plan on pre-ordering as soon as it's available.

As for the 2017 rumoured anniversary iPhone, i will see, if it's a big upgrade and i like what i see i will upgrade to that one as well and just sell my 7 Plus. iPhone's tend to hold their value well. But it certainly wont put me off buying the iPhone 7 or 7 Plus.

Nothing is "real" until Apple announce, the nearest you can get is by reading the credible leakers who have been right in the past, but they could also be wrong.

I love how Apple now have so few ideas that releasing a changed phone this year means they cannot also release a changed phone the following year.

Best of luck with your purchaseo_Oi think i am also interested in the new space black color :D if it comes out with (Modified Edition) printed on the black or otherwise i have to do it myself
