Just started seeing these this evening. Anyone else? I’m (obviously) signed in on the site and I’ve tried re-loading the home page and each time it’s consistently displaying a pop up. Hopefully it’s just me or a rogue ad…

Yes and they’re pissing me off royally. Popping up every 15 seconds reading one article. Including full page video ads. Typical Amazon not caring about your personal space and shoving their business everywhere in your face.

This is how businesses lose viewership. I’m already annoyed at the ads in the podcasts every 7 minutes lasting for 6 minutes. Now they’re selling adds in every square inch of their website. This will be why I never return.

I don't see the ads, then again I'm running 1Blocker in Safari.

As a contributor you get the benefit of an ad free experience- don’t need an ad blocker on MR.
Thank you @S.B.G At the time of the above post I wasn't a Contributor. I just joined today. Thank you for reminding me though, I just shut off all ad blocking extensions in Safari for this forum. 👍

We also have a paid ad free option with front page filtering features.

Advertisements should never be obtrusive to the user experience. Ads are fine when they’re adjacent or part of the scrolling. But literally blocking the user from interacting and interfering every 15 seconds should never be permitted and should not be a privilege behind a paywall.

Thank you for removing them quickly but I hope there’s some scrutiny involved with ad screening moving forward.
