"Update to carrier settings" available (O2-UK) - anyone else?

I plugged in my iPhone to sync today and up popped a dialog asking me to update carrier settings.

Anyone else had this?

I have the benm.at vertigo profile installed - anyone know if this update will break tethering?

Are carrier updates not pushed out when you're roaming?

I have an O2 Ireland SIM, but I'm in the US.

I have an O2 Ireland SIM, but I'm in the US.

We get them in the UK when we sync with iTunes.

O2 UK and O2 Ireland share the same parent company but are completely separate subsidiaries, so your Irish SIM wouldn't get this carrier update.

I did an O2 carrier update last week.

It took me from O2 4.0 to O2 4.4

What does the new Carrier Update take you to?? You can find out in the About screen in settings?
