It would be kind of hard to use without a keyboard or mouse, right? Maybe there is a hidden trackpad there and it's a voice-command machine!

New apple desk.. all built in to the solid wood, track pad, keyboard, and mystery laptop built in as well.

Wow no one has dual displays :(

If mine arrive tomorrow I will take pics. It'll be great having extra screen real estate :D

dual 30s :) not 27s ?

I can only imagine your setup :D I've seen some of the stuff you've posted about.

Why would you need 2?

I got heavy into 3D modeling and Maya is a screen hog and I have Maya and Photoshop open together usually for texturing but also have ZBrush open as well so all three have to share the space. Even though I can use spaces, some of the things (especially texturing) are easier to do when you can see everything at once.

I also do a lot of programming, photography, digital painting, and run a lot of virtual machines and will dabble in music creation so the extra screen space really helps :)

whats funny is nothing compared with what a car mechanic might spend on a roll away :) hehehehehe

I miss this program ? rebirth ? mixed up some really cool stuff and you could create some killer stuff ? I think it was rebirth ?

ditto above ?

for layouts its nice to have your layout on one and say bridge or iview open on the other with your choices ?

or PS one one and email and such on the other along with FTP etc..

or LR and a movie on netfilx ;)

I am thinking that dual 24s are probably just small enough to go dual while 27s or 30s are a bit large for most individuals with the exception of those that have special applications. I think that MP users would likely use dual monitor setups?

I've been debating on getting two dual 24" ACD or one 27" ACd for my Mac Pro. So far I think I'm going with the one 27"ACD. Its such a nice big screen, all I should need.

when working in images and some other applications the vertical resolution is nice to have :)

those that think OH I would rather have 2 smaller monitors over one big ? the thing is once you use larger monitors its hard to go back ? and then you get thinking man this 30 is small !!!!! then you get two then its still man these 30 are small ;) waiting for a 34 to come out :)

shhhh, he's pulling the US out recession all by himself

LOL!!! Who knows, at the rate I'm going maybe it will happen :p

I do miss vertical resolution when coding or doing image editing. Too bad the ACDs dont swivel (although I used to have a samsung that swiveled and I never used it. It was a 26 inch.)

The wide screen is much more benificial to me most of the time though since I usually have some program open that requires a million toolbars to be open at the same time.

...Now if only UPS would hurry up and get here! (Too bad they usually don't come until late afternoon :'( )

When my 27" ACD finally arrives by mid october I will have it as primary display with my old 20" ACD as secondary to keep Mails, iTunes and application palettes off the main screen .... pending arrival, so at the moment I'm stuck with only the 20" which is driving me nuts!
