Yes, thats pretty much it.
A more solid and stable solution for it but not a big deal IMO.
the problem with this method is, I don't want to Unlock my phone, (I'm on an official carrier and I just want to play it safe for now) I might consider the unlock when/if I take my summer vacation to Europe this year, hence why I want to stay on 04.28.08 for now, (also resale value )
I imagine installing and running the latest "ultrasn0w" through Cydia will unlock my phone and in the process fix this issue.
But I just don't want to take a chance of Unlocking, incase other problems arise from the process.
I much rather take the "MakeitMine" route before I even consider unlocking the phone.
I am coming to a conclusion that these are my only two options?
I also read from several trusted sources that this is strictly a cosmetic issue: it is just missing text and nothing else. doesn't effect the phone any other way, so yeah I agree: Not a big deal, at least not big enough to Unlock my phone for.
Ultrasn0w has very few issues to begin with. A downside of going with the MakeItMine option is that when you are under international roaming, it will still show it as ROGERS or whatever you have.
You can always uninstall ultrasn0w without any issues too.
Yeah I see that ultrasn0w is a very reliable Unlock on 04.26.08, but i guess I'm just gonna hold off on it for now. aghh! I donno maybe later.
