Okay, so I snagged a cheapo copy of Windows 7 off amazon so I could get a legit copy of 10 on my Mac Boot Camp on the cheap. Didnt realize however that Boot Camp only supports 8+ ... so I'm going to try and install 7 in a VM, then upgrade to 10, find serial somehow, then do a fresh install of 10 with bootcamp .. somehow.

Any ideas guys?

Install Windows 8.1, Install Boot Camp Drivers, and then upgrade to Windows 10

If you install windows 7 in vmware without installing much of the applications, and vmware tools, you may have a chance to bring it outside your vm in order to use it for boot camp.

Here is a link, introducing how to install windows 10 on older Macs. You may use it as a reference or, if possible, tutorial.
