Some here are obsessed with technical legalities, which do more to complicate and confuse others than to actually clear anything up. I have a feeling the topic poster (and most of us) does not care weather Apple allows iLife to be installed on Hackintoshes or not in some small print in the license.

Would it be a good idea to remove iLife '08 with AppZapper before installing the new iLife '09?

I have my iPhoto library etc backed up in several places.

Would this help disk space and get rid of extraneous files?
