Since my job consists of sitting down for 10-hr shifts (with 90% of that being downtime) the 8+ with its proper 16:9 aspect ratio and wide 5.5” display gives me the largest screen for comfortably reading kindle books, browsing the web, and watching youtube videos.
The only other device I would even consider right now is the XR, but I’m 100% happy with my 8+ and plan on keeping it however many years until it no longer works.
