Could someone provide some guidance on whether it is advisable to upgrade my MacBook Pro M3 Max to the M4 Max or wait for a further year or two? Are the significant improvements substantial? Also, can someone share insights into the overall experience of the new nano texture display?

Generally speaking, one-version upgrades aren't worth the time, effort, or cost other than major updates like Intel to M1.

If you need a new computer anyway (more storage, more RAM) then fine, go for it. Otherwise it's a lot of money for not a lot of difference.

Of course some people have more money than sense; if so - that's okay too!

Yes, that makes sense. I have 36 GB of RAM and 1 TB of SSD, so I don’t have any issues with memory or storage. The only thing that’s bothering me is a tiny scratch on the aluminium body lol

Thanks for your reply!
