Upgrading question

Is it possible to do the following:

Have a family plan with 2 phones/lines.

Dad with a Galaxy2 available for upgrade. Mom with an old motorola not available for upgrade.

Mom wants to upgrade to 5C. Is it possible to do a swap of sorts? Upgrade on Galaxy line to get the 2yr price but keep my moms number/contacts?


Anyone know what I'm talking about? Thanks!

I don't see why that would be a problem. Call your carrier and ask them.

Upgrade questions are best directed at the carrier. They'll know your current upgrade situation best.

Well I know it's due for an upgrade. I just know some people did "upgrade swapping" before, but i forgot how it worked exactly.

I know AT&T will do it in a heartbeat!

I have 5 phones on my account and I have done a "cross upgrade" several times.

I know for a fact that Verizon will do that, it's very common. I am on a family plan and we swap upgrades a lot.
