Hi everyone,

My first post here, so I apologize in advance if I missed any protocols.

I would like to upgrade my SSD in my Macbook pro - Model A1398. After doing a lot of research online I found these items, but before I make the purchase, can someone please confirm if they will work?

  1. Samsung 860 EVO mSATA 1TB SATA III V-NAND
  2. QNINE mSATA to A1398 Converter Card
OR

Samsung T5 Portable SSD 2TB (Take it apart) and use the QNINE Converter mentioned in #2 above.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi, I have a Mid-2014 13" Macbook Pro running MacOS Mojave Ver.10-14.6 on it.
I am planning to upgrade the SSD on this machine with a Sintech NGFF M.2 PCIe SSD Card WITH A CRUCIAL P1 1TB 3D NAND NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD (CT1000P1SSD8).

Where can I find an easy step-by-step guide to assist me in this upgrade.
And, for anyone who has done this before - what precautions do I need to take before, during & after this upgrade ?

Thanks in advance for your help.
