I just talked to an AT&T rep, and they told me it would be perfectly fine to return my iPhone. In fact, the guy said he'd do the same.

iPhone 4 - here I come!

I will upgrade to the new iPhone once we have more options beside just AT&T. This company still hasn't given us tethering, claiming it will strain their bandwidth. The said the same thing about the slingplayer app on 3G, yet everything worked out fine once AT&T allowed it. If AT&T has bandwidth issues then maybe they shouldn't have any smart phones on their network.

AT&T is going to lose a lot of iPhone customers once Verizon gets it and I don't see how they could keep any of us, other than drastically lowering their monthly fees. I certainly have had it with AT&T limiting what my iPhone can do, so I'm not sure even if they lowered my bill that I would stay with them.

i'm currently on a family plan with 4 iphone lines. We are currently a year into our contract and the site says we are eligible for an upgrade Dec 2010. I'm wondering when the 4g iphone drops would we be eligible? I know when the 3GS dropped, some people were able to upgrade early who had their contracts from 12-18 months. Do you think they'll provide something like that when the 4g comes out?

The primary line will be upgrade eligible at the 12 month mark, all other lines are 18-24 months.
