Following a week of constant order status changes and general haziness on when customers would actually receive their Apple Watch orders, a few MacRumors users have confirmed this morning that they have received April 24 delivery estimates for their Apple Watch pre-orders.

In the forums, multiple mentions of an Apple distribution center in Mount Juliet, Tennessee have resulted in numerous users getting confirmed delivery dates for their Apple Watch orders this Friday, April 24. While mostly centered in the southern states like Tennessee, Arkansas, and Florida, a few outliers, like a few customers in Indiana, have also had the April delivery date confirmed.

The news comes after a few Apple Watch pre-order customers began receiving UPS tracking numbers yesterday, thanks to the service's "My Choice" opt-in emails, which notify customers whenever a package is on its way to their house. On Monday, many people began being charged for their Apple Watch orders, seeing a shift from "Processing Items" to "Preparing for Shipment" for a majority of users.

Many of the early UPS shipping notifications had delivery estimates for earlier in the week, but these were understood to be inaccurate considering Apple's efforts to have all deliveries held until the official launch day. Apple's own order status pages are also still showing a broad "4/24-5/8" window for the first wave of orders, so tracking information pinpointing delivery for Friday will be a welcome reassurance for many customers.

With the Apple Watch launch stressing some of the company's customers out, yesterday Apple retail chief Angela Ahrendts was seen in a video updating Apple retail employees on the different approach for the Watch's launch, promising a "unique situation" and that the company's "blockbuster launches", or in-store launches, will continue in the future. With only two days to go until the official launch of the Apple Watch, many users should begin seeing status and date changes popping up on their accounts over the next few hours.

BEST.NEWS.EVER (referring to the ability to sign now and not have to be home like wha they do for phones).

Now what about the 4-6 weeks crowd?

Damn it.

And my order was pushed back 4-6 weeks because I submitted my order at 12:03am.

:-/ I'm gonna be so jelly for this month-month and a half.

And I have still yet to receive any change from my "Processing." I am now going to hate the word Processing. Just like many others, I got the 42mm Space Grey :apple: Watch Sport

'Sign now' just means that UPS can leave a $1000 item on your porch instead of waiting for you to answer the door.

Just means you're trading convenience, for the risk that you might get home and your package is stolen. I'm waiting for that thread in the next few days now....

Still waiting and hoping ..... What da hell is going on with the SG sports? :04 here and still processing.... If that damn store app was on time I'd had an :01 ....

Still prepping for Shipment with delivery on 4/24-5/8 with the 42MM Space Gray Sport.

For the people have been seeing the tracking info early...

What number are you entering? I don't see anywhere that you can enter a phone number or email to track a package on UPS or FedEx.

Also, is there any way to tell which of the two (UPS vs FedEx) will be shipping the watch my area? Hoping for UPS, expecting FedEx :/

Someone feel free to correct me, but I believe that Apple has always offered this (mainly referring to iPhone deliveries).

I am still waiting for my 42mm SG Sport to go from processing to preparing for shipment. I ordered my watch at 12:02 and got the 4/24-5/8 delivery. WTF?!:(

I've been charged my apple order status has showed "Preparing for Shipment" now for 3 days... No tracking number even logged into my UPS My Choice and FedEx Delivery Manager nothing there even tracked by reference number using my phone number and order number as the reference number and nothing

:-(

Instead of pre-signing and risk your watch being stolen why not just reroute it to your nearest UPS depot? That's what I do for EVERY delivery even iPhone's...

This way I know it's there and I can go pick it up and not worry about having to be home.

Well for some this convenience has value. There have been a number of instances on phone deliveries where I was not home or carrier just didn't buzz long enough and then I had to wait a day or so for redelivery.

Same here....I wonder what causes some people to get these and others to not. My card was charged.

Go to UPS and select track by reference, use your 10 digit phone number and 4/23/15 for the date and it should work.

I have tried almost every iPhone cycle and always get same response that the phones require a signature. Sometimes it was blamed on AT&T. But I have never been able to e-sign.

Once I left a legal letter to fedex on my door absolving them of responsibility if they just left it there. Nope. They took at back and had to pick it up in person.
