UPS- Follow Delivery on Live Map

I've been enrolled in mychoice UPS for a while, but have never seen this before. Just got an email to live track on a map my UPS truck. Anybody else get this/seen before? Pretty cool

Based off what someone said in the other thread, the truck zips all over the place. If that truck has packages that must be delivered in a certain window they must complete those.

UPS has a designated route so it could be right down the road but take 2hrs to get to you!

Ups also only makes right turns on the routes. They have an entire computer system designed to limit left hand turns as much as possible to save time and fuel. It’s pretty impressive but impossible to know what the route will be.

This is cool but also driving me crazy. The truck was 2 blocks away from my house, then went to another part of town, now is across the street, but no delivery yet here. I'd almost rather not know than to be refreshing every 5 minutes!

Interesting. Similar. He has come as close as two houses to me on an intersecting street but not here yet.

How do I get this to work? I have a my ups account, but I do not see the option to "follow my package"

It is not the biggest deal, as I won't get home until 5, but I am very curious to see where it is

my phone is exploring a neighborhood on the other side of town at the moment. just "patiently" waiting for it to cross the railroad tracks and head up my street! less than 1/2 a mile away!

The link says it's beta, so they are probably only giving it to a limited set of users or it's only available in some areas.

when tracking, if it's available in your area it will say "Follow My Delivery"... it's one of 4 green buttons:

"Notify me with Updates"
"Change Delivery"
"Provide Delivery Instructions"
"Follow My Delivery"

My follow the truck worked at first when it was still at the depot. However ever since then it is showing location is unavailable. Very disappointing bc that would be cool to watch it get closer.

it's not that cool! it gets closer and then further away! I wish I knew who came up with the routes they take!!!
