So many of us have our tracking numbers by searching by reference in the UPS website.

Who has already changed their delivery to be held at the hub? Apparently my phone is in a batch that just left Korea and I was waiting for it to be at least state side before I make the delivery change.

Anybody did it yet?

I changed mine to be held at my local hub while it was still in China. It is currently in Kentucky.

Do they let you do this? I heard in previous years they need to deliver to the address first before they can hold?

Mine's still in Shanghai and I just hang up with a UPS rep have it held for me to pick up on the 16th.

Question for those who have done this before: I assume the "hub" refers to a UPS Customer Center? When I checked the filter for Early Pickup Available, the Customer Center disappeared from the list, but I believe that is usually the city in which previous packages have been located when being put on the truck for delivery. Just want to make sure I don't have my package held somewhere where it will be received at the end of the day :p

I have. I changed it the day I found my tracking number. Still says it will be available on Friday. I'll be there at 8:30am when the hub opens.

The best bet is to have it held at a hub so it will be there in the morning. If you have it held at a UPS store then it might not be delivered there until sometime during the day depending on where they are in the delivery route.

Yes, hub means customer Center

You're better off doing it sooner than later! If it holds-up the process for any reason, doing it too late will only press UPS for time to get things sorted (pardon the pun). And UPS does not do well under pressure. There's a reason their color is brown: because they're ****.

Are your tracking statuses showing this information? Mine isn't but the rep confirmed what his system said.
Yes, it shows right there.

Mine is being held. Phone still shows that it is in China. Funny enough I called UPS to verify they will hold it and the "international shipping expert" told me I could pick up my phone on Thursday. I was like yeah I doubt that...

I'm sure the "expert" was just assuming that if the package is at the hub on Thursday, you could get it if the hub was still open.

I doubt it due to the rules with Apple telling them to hold phones. But hey, you might get lucky. Did you tell them it was the 7? Or just a random package?

I had mine held before it left Shanghai for Anchorage. It's sitting in Anchorage now. How long did you guys see yours sitting there before it departed for Louisville?

Got worried at first when I asked for an delivery address change, as I will be out of town most of the day. The UPS agent said Apple doesn't allow delivery address changes, but she did offer the hold at the hub!

I have my 7+ and Apple Watch set for hold for pickup. Its way easier to drive 10 minutes at my convenience to the hub vs waiting until 8pm for the UPS truck. I just won't be going at opening cause I know there will be a line of people doing the same thing.

Been 5 hours since arrival in PANC. Looks like lots of planes leaving today to KSDF so I would think sometime tonight.
