How much past 3 is it where you are? Mine still has two hours. So, I guess when UPS says, "Delivery by 3 PM," it's just a wild guess.
Yeah...the local UPS guy is not delivering "millions of iPhones." This is their business, we're not talking about a natural disaster or weather delay.yeah, im pretty sure they are delivering millions of iphones in one day - not just yours.
Cant expect anything to be on time today.
Im not happy with UPS. Ive seen 5-6 FedEx trucks and 1 DHL on my street so far today. Does UPS not use different drivers for business and residential for some reason?
Your "local" guy has probably had to pick up parts of someone elses route today, or someone else has taken part of his... I have worked in the parcel delivery business in the past.Yeah...the local UPS guy is not delivering "millions of iPhones." Millions of extra packages in one day effects the entire office and route. Im sure they even had people out later than normal YESTERDAY to clear the pipeline.
They also have a union that fights against unwanted overtime - theres alot that goes into your iphone getting delivered and those "delivered by" date/time are ESTIMATES. Its on you if you think its a guarantee. Only guarantees are for priority or overnight shipping.
If it was an "estimate" it would say, "estimated time of delivery," not, "To Be Delivered by 3:00 PM"
If a logistics company can't deal with the logistics of delivering millions of packages, worldwide, what good are they?
FedEx and DHL seem to have no issues getting packages delivered on time.
Well, I guess they just are not that good. and btw - all the parcel delivery services are late from time to time without mass-world wide launches.
Hopefully you get your phone today so that you can complain about something else tomorrow.
The UPS truck was driving all around my house for the last four hours. Now it's gone in completely the other direction, and it's saying I'm supposed to receive my item in an hour.
I should clarify that the truck I "saw" was not visually, but the one that actually has my iPhone on Follow My Delivery. It was in multiple neighborhoods within a mile of my house all morning. Now it's on the other side of town.like mentioned earlier, they are using multiple drivers. I am pretty sure some are just delivering iphones.
