Sometimes it's just luck of the draw with the driver. My past iPhone deliveries have been somewhere around 2-5pm, so I was surprised to see my iPhone X was delivered today around 11:45am. Most other deliveries I get here are like 5-8pm.

I didn't get a 7 Plus til this March, and I didn't feel bad that it took that long for me to afford getting one. Situations change and sometimes you might have to wait til 7pm to get yours. Until then, things will be fine!!

Im not happy with UPS. Ive seen 5-6 FedEx trucks and 1 DHL on my street so far today. Does UPS not use different drivers for business and residential for some reason?

I've seen 3 FedEx trucks pass my street, and 0 UPS trucks... So sad hahaha

2 hours late... 🙁
I have been watching the truck on the ups “follow my delivery” website. It *finally* got away from the business deliveries and was winding its way up and down the residential streets in my neighborhood. But right now, when I went to look at the progress, the truck (and it is the one that they say has my phone on it) is suddenly in another town about 5-10 miles away. grrrrr. I think it is headed back to the ups hub. I’m now thinking this follow my delivery thing is a very bad idea and it is better to not know how the sausage is made.

UPS incorrectly sorted my wifes iPhone X.
"We've incorrectly sorted this package which may cause a delay."
She is pisssed and called them. They said Monday and she went what, what, WHAT.......

Follow My Delivery showed a delivery frame ending 15:00. Out for delivery at 9:04. Phone was delivered at 14:47. Cutting it close but they made it.

Mine said by end of day. That’s all I’ve ever seen from UPS. They’re dumb to overpromise. Just say end of day and people wouldn’t complain lol.

It's almost 1pm and mine is still stuck at "Destination Scan" at my local city. Really unsure if they can fulfill their delivery promise today.

It is now 5:20pm and I don't think I will get it today. I am actually more concerned that it might be stolen at the warehouse, as it hasn't been scanned since arriving there this morning.

So my phone is still with UPS, no idea when it might get delivered next week. They have been a week late with deliveries to me before, as the local franchise in this country seems pretty disorganised.

I guess I could see about finding a phone in a bricks and mortar store and return the pre order which is with UPS when it eventually arrives?

What irks me is, even though I have had repeated late deliveries with UPS before, they still use them. I have had DHL before deliver next day from Apple, thats great servicer, but UPS never achieve those service levels.

Do Apple just use UPS because they are really cheap or something?

UPS was supposed to deliver mine by 3pm Friday. I worked from home so I'd be here to sign for it, but around 9pm the truck headed back to the depot without attempting delivery. The next day they claimed they attempted a delivery around 11pm but I wasn't here. I was, and the pre-signed form was out front, and they didn't leave a first delivery tag.

This morning (Saturday) I called twice and was told it would be delivered today. Again no attempt was made. I called Apple (who said they will start an investigation) and UPS who is no longer making any predictions about if or when they might be able to deliver it but said they will start an inquiry into the false "attempted delivery" claim on Friday. I'm starting to think they lost the package. "Fell off a truck" I guess.
