Hi guys,

My phone was out for delivery today and then it was returned to UPS to new delivery on Monday. I've been on hold for 25mins now. anyone else had this happen. Not the end of the world, but really lol. It seems like its lost now. I just got someone. my dam luck. They put a trace on it.

UPdate:

UPS could not complete the delivery???? Apple will refund me the money. I just paid out all this and did the loan stuff with Citizens. This is crazy. I'm at work so I can t stay on the phone with apple. I have t wait until I get home.

I had a weird experience with UPS when I was expecting my iPhone 14 Pro.

They came to our house, my wife was picking up packages from our porch and noticed them so she waited to see if they would bring a package that we were waiting for.

The driver spent a few minutes looking in the truck, made eye contact with my wife then went back to the driver’s seat.

My wife closed our door and the guy came and slapped a sticker on our door that said “no one was home”!!!
 
Hmmm. If they weren’t able to make the delivery for ’normal’ reasons they would just try again. Just sending it back is weird. UPS saying address does not exist or saying possible fraud? Driver cutting corners? Did Apple say return it based on UPS interaction. Messed up.

I have been on apples live chat for id says 3 hours now. I keep getting disconnected. The don't know anything they claim. UPS won't give me any reasons. They have to look into it. Nobody wants to do anything it seems. All of my info is correct. The person from UPS just does not know what happened and can't tell me anything.

SAME EXACT PROBLEM.

UPS delivery person held the box in their hand. We were ready to sign. Then stated it says I have to return it. :-/ WHAT??? ... She called her supervisor, they said they didn't know why, but she was not allowed to deliver us the package. :-/ .... I have spent the past hour on the phone with Apple. ... They said they tried but were not able to talk to real person at UPS. ..... :-( .... Apple said. "I'm sorry you will just have to wait and see what happens in regard to delivery for the next 3 days.

UPS delivery lady said I was the second person on her route this had happened to.

Very Frustrating! Apple and UPS need to get this fixed!

Its not weird when the phone was stolen in the warehouse and not on the truck when the delivery attempt was made. Happens with UPS more often than you think. At least they wasted no time fessing up.

The package was scanned when put on truck. So either driver or I suppose loader. If internal theft situation.
 
My phone had an arrival scan at 1:27 am this morning and hasn’t updated since. The message said it was on the way and I had a delivery window of 11:15am - 3:15pm. It’s now 6pm EST and still no update or phone. I called UPS and I’m waiting for a call from customer service.

Sounds like the package was recalled by Apple - might be a security or payment issue. With so many orders, I'm guessing some orders get a false positive.

We've heard stories of people having their orders cancelled much earlier in the pipeline.
 
My UPS tracking updated this morning to something like "rescheduled delivery requested." I called the UPS 800 number and they had someone from my local depot call me back. They said there's a problem with the computer system, and they guaranteed me that if I came by at 6:30pm they would hand the package to me.

I just got home after waiting there for two hours, still empty-handed. The UPS staff at the front desk said the daytime people don't know what they're talking about, and anyone with a drivers license can get a job being a driver these days. Great. I don't care about the delivery delay, truly, but I definitely care about my time and money being wasted, and I don't understand where they got the idea that I wanted my delivery rescheduled. A needlessly frustrating day.

My tracking just updated confirming a delivery tomorrow, so at least there's that. I'll believe it when I'm holding the box.

Edit: As of 6:20pm on 09/23 I'm holding the box.

I just got this update after no movement all day. We are currently under a tropical storm warning so I doubt I get it tomorrow. The best I can hope for is Monday or Tuesday I guess.
 
Hi Guys,

I never expected this to be a bigger problem. Looks my whole order was canceled now. Apple tried to get me to order an other one and wait until November. I said no thanks. This is the craziest thing I’ve went through In a while. Nobody knows anything and now my whole order is canceled and I already paid the taxes and paid my first payment.

I’m not even sure what to do. I may not do this upgrade every year with apple after this. They can’t tell me what happened. UPS says to ask Apple. Apple tried to help me but said the team that handles expedited problems just ordered a replacement for me instead of trying to get ups to deliver my current one.

But, the thing is, i have to pay the taxes and such all over again. I’m guessing Citizens one also needs a refund and refund my money.

I’m just hoping by dumb luck, they still deliver this And it’s really not going back to ChIna

Did you ever get that call. They all suck and are SOB’s. They don ‘t really care.

That sucks! This makes you not want to do this again. My 14 is still working! Let me know if you get an update.

Dam, thats rough. That is crazy. I may not use apple for getting the new one again.
 
Got my new iPhone 15 Pro today from UPS no problem. I guess the odds have to swing in our favor from time to time!

I also had a bad experience with UPS. After taking off work to make sure I get the phone I sat by the window until I looked at the UPS app and saw where I missed the delivery. I called until I got a nice lady named Krista who had the driver bring the phone back. The driver admitted to me that my house looked empty so he did not get out. I was so happy to get my phone I just said thank you and signed. I had gotten over my anger five hours before. I just wanted my phone. iPhone 15 pro blue
