I mean… It’s not just a 9.99$ random item ffs…
 
Most shipping now a days is a joke, there is no way to hold the company to a date, or to any responsibility. It chaps my hide quite often as I tend to have issues from many shippers. The best luck I have is surprisingly USPS. I have said multiple times if I had Elon money I'd start a decent shipping company.

My worst iPhone ups story was one of the first Max's. UPS said it was delivered to my apartment, but never was. After calling UPS and them checking with the driver he delivered to my local Apple Store. Called the store and after going round and round that they don't do that, they found my phone and when I went in never even asked me for my ID just brought out my box. Had to double check the SN's on my order to confirm I got the right one.

Called Apple to inquire about the delayed UPS delivery.

Nice lady told me: “you were initially given an estimated delivery date of october 5th-11th… please wait patiently until october 11th even though UPS has had your phone since Sept 26th”

So… I guess I’ll just have to wait another week to find out if they effectively lost my phone or not 🤦🏻‍♂️

Not impressed and not confident…
 
Update,

My phone is still traveling around the country. Now, they want my 14pro max back!! This is getting crazy. They for some reason think I have the 15 from Apple.

Not impressed and not confident…

UPS customer service said they have no idea where my phone is and need to open a case to find it.

They suggested I file a claim, to which I indicated that I would let Apple handle that mess.

Apple wanted UPS to confirm phone was lost/stolen.

So i filed a claim with UPS.

UPS then emailed me, stating that Apple requires me to call in and file a claim directly… 😡

Called Apple… patiently re-explained everything from beginning. Nice lady noted it all and transferred me to sales dept:
« Hello, how can I help you today? »
😡😡

Again, blah blah blah… phone lost by UPS… blah blah blah…
« I see… we will investigate and make sure to send you a replacement asap »

Received a mail today. Good news! My replacement will be shipped soon!

Checking in the Apple Store app shows:
- Expected delivery 5-6 weeks
😡😡😡

So… if everything goes well from now on, I should get the phone I ordered within minutes of pre-launch Opening, on September 15th, just in time for Christmas
