Apple gave me the option to presign for the bumper I talked about previously in this thread, and said a signature was required. However the mailman just tossed it on the porch without knocking for a signature. But UPS tendered it to the USPS, so this is probably why.

Interesting...yesterday on the UPS Tracking page, it said Signature Required. Now it doesn't. On the Apple order status page, though, it has the link to Pre-Sign for delivery.

Even though it's gone on the UPS page, I have no doubts that they'll require a signature. It's an Apple thing.

I just checked the UPS page and mine does still say Signature Required under the special instructions.

Mine says signature required, under special instructions. It has the delivery date, then the current location below that, and right below that is where it says special instructions.

Yep, mine is the same as that.

I talked to UPS and they told me specifically: "Sprint does not require a signature."

When I asked the UPS driver about signatures, he said it is up to the shipper. I think it costs more to have signature required. I don't think I have ever had to sign for anything from Amazon that was sent UPS including a $1000 AV receiver.
