I had my pre-signed form on the door and they left it at the apartment door no problem, sorry that happened but you'll get it soon.

If it makes you feel better, I still have no data service. (damn AT&T says to wait another 2 hours)

I spoke with customer care also, the department where I would pick it up. They said they lock the door at 7:30pm.

Honestly not worth a 25min drive (one way).

I'll cross my fingers and hope for delivery tomorrow. If not, guess I'm going into work late on Monday because I'm not going to miss delivery again.

Yes, the customer drop off will be locked.... but the office inside the hub side, nope, there will be people milling around. It's a strange place to wander around... LOL! That is where they had me go, and there was a whole huge pile of packages to be picked up that night. That is the problem - they probably wouldn't pull it OFF the truck. I'll have to ask that. They would have to if they were going to attempt on Saturday.

Ouch, I'd probably not try it with 25 miles each way either.

I'll keep holding out for you that they get it to you tomorrow.

Good news, another update:

5:10pm
Same day will call. / The customer has cancelled the Same Day Will Call request; package will receive a delivery attempt tomorrow.

Very cool that UPS is going out for Saturday delivery, I understand it's not typical.

The UPS distribution center near me is having issues, my date got changed from today until Monday.

I tweeted at UPS with disproval, and they tweeted me back saying to email them my tracking info and phone number. A few minutes later, we worked out a deal that they're sending my package to a local center so I can pick it up tonight...I was impressed. The center is only about ten minutes away, but totally worth it.

Well,

Props to the UPS driver. He came back for a 2nd attempt. He said he saw the notice but didn't leave it because the gardeners were outside.

Success!
