Yeahhhhhh, I reached the ten day shipping Milestone!
Ordered 12:30am 10/27
Apple delivery window. 11/17-11/24
256 AT&T SG
Shipped 11/14
Stayed in China until 11/22
Now stuck in Korea with no movement since yesterday early AM.
Don’t see that I’ll get this delivered tomorrow!
I’ll have to change heading for this thread to more than 10 days shipping.....
UPS still showing packet was scheduled for delivery yesterday.....Ooooooch!

As I suspected, Apple put unsold IPhones on the airplanes out of Asia ahead of those of us who ordered during the first few hours on 10/27.
My IPhone has been stuck in UPS Hell for ten days now, and it had an Apple Shipping window of between 11/17-11/24. Apple still says it will be delivered today, but UPS tracking shoepws it’s still in Incheon, Korea, where it has sat for Almost 3 days now, after having sat in China for almost 8 days.
While chatting with UPS this AM, the rep said the iPhone would definitely not be delivered today, and blamed Apple....see some of this chat below.
Meanwhile, as I was chatting with him, I went onto Apple Store and was able to snag one exactly the same, which I can pick up at my local store 10 mins away at 10 AM.
So, I was right all along, Apple had my $$$$ already, so I became a secondary consideration.

Did you even look at the post? He's complaining about how long his phone has been held up in China.
Did you even look at the thread before he edited it following my comment? The original thread was just a single picture, no complaining going on and rather abstract because of it. Might want to get your facts straight before lacing in with the old "Did you even look..." verbiage.

Besides, how is 10+ days bad from China? That only 2 weeks, big deal. Want it sooner? Order from a source you know is local or go to an Apple store (which I see is the case). Problem solved.

Since when is ordering from Apple directly not a good choice?

I guess that’s the point here!
Ordering directly from Apple 30 mins into the ordering cycle, was not the best way to go this year!
Apple is manipulating the deliveries so that they can maximize Online and Retail Walk in sales, and any sense of fairness is out the window.

Now now boys!

Thank you for such deep words of wisdom, but as I’ve said earlier, I snagged one at the Apple Store this AM so I’m happy—-
This is really a cautionary thread for folks to consider not making same mistakes...

Glad I snagged IPhone at Apple Store this AM, because my shipping now changed to next Wednesday, Nov. 29th.
Ooooch
Originally shipped on 11/14, that’s a grand total of 15 days lolling around in UPS Expedited Worldwide Service!
Apple still shows Delivery for Today...Eeejits!

Yes a "cautionary" thread. How often his this occurred in the past?

If you are so unhappy that Apple screwed you with a the shipping process, why don't you not buy the X? Show Apple that you mean business instead of whining/complaining on a message board about your injustice!

A friend of mine is in the same boat. He was supposed to have it delivered on the 21st, but status updates still show it in China. UPS tells him it's stuck in customs.

Oh relax. For goodness sakes mine doesn’t even arrive till late December. You know what I’m doing? Just getting on with my life.

I understand your sentiment but it's slightly problematic that people are being charged for something and not receiving it for well over a week, especially when the shipping claims to be expedited.

So, after staying up late on Oct. 27th to place an order for a T-Mobile SG 256, and getting an 11/17-11/24 delivery window, I waited and waited.....Package stayed in China for 8 days after shipping notification and CC charge, then in Korea for another three days, and I finally got a notice today from UPS that it is scheduled for delivery tomorrow. WOW, IT ONLY TOOK 13 DAYS! Worldwide Expedited Service my %@#$.
I’m sending this baby right back, since I snagged one from my local Apple Store on Friday.
According to UPS, Apple delayed our shipments so that they could ship out and fill the Retail Stores for the Black Friday sales.
BAD APPLE!
Now that Black Friday is behind us things should free up again, but Apple has lost a lot of people’s respect in them as a business that always treats their customers right! Not!

My Phone has been stuck in China, aswell. No movement for five days. Went from delivers Wed, to Thrs, to Fri, to Unavailable. How's that for service!
