UPS61 delayed leaving Taiwan!

Just searching for UPS flights between Taiwan and Anchorage: http://flightaware.com/live/findflight/TPE/PANC/
Most UPS cargo flights for the iPhone shipments have two digits. After UPS61 was cancelled today, UPS6061 popped up for tomorrow (along with the regularly scheduled UPS61 flight).
If you click on the link for UPS6061 to view it's history, it's only been run a few times this year. Since today's UPS61 was cancelled, they needed a second plane to carry that cargo.
Nobody seems to know that on here, they don't care about a storm killing people because they think they must have their new toys immediately!
Stop making assumptions. I didn't say "Why is my phone delayed??"
I simply stated that it had been held up. And, yes, I do know about Meranti.
Making a thread and knowing why it's delayed just seemed a little pointless to me, no offense!
There's still a chance and if not you're in a better position than probably 95% of iPhone buyers this year
I just got an email stating that mine will be delivered tomorrow; however I changed my delivery status to go pick up at the UPS central hub here in Austin so I will be getting mine hopefully by 10 AM tomorrow. Mine also says Japan at the moment but evidently it's going to go from there directly to the US pretty quickly. I reserved a 7+ silver, 256 GB
I'm with you ToddH i also changed mine for delivery to a store but UPS told me it will be at the hub...not sure whats up wit that...will check later...mine has left Japan
Well the hub is the big UPS station in your city. It is not a UPS store it is where all the trucks leave from that location to deliver packages. I know the address of mine so I know where to go. You may have to look and find out where your main UPS headquarters is where you live
Checking this one up for a friend as he ordered directly from Apple. What's going on with our packages? Is there still a chance that it could get here on the 16th tomorrow?

It left Japan and is headed to AK with a final KY destination just after midnight tonight. From there a it's a quick flight to the North East so I'm sure it will be here tomorrow... by end of day.
It's simply amazing to me. The diversions because of the typhoon must have been a logistical nightmare.

UPS website says delivery date updated to 19th. Anyone else have this problem?
Mine just changed to delivery on 9/19 also. I took the day off work to be at home for delivery so I'm very unhappy.

As of right now, only 2 flights left for the day to arrive at Anchorage: one from Seoul, the other from Shenzhen.

It's nice that they made that page, but it doesn't have all the iPhone flights. Mine left Osaka today to Anchorage on UPS6061.
