Looking for opinions on which you prefer more for daily use? I am looking at ordering one or the other for the 6s plus

Never had the MagPul but the UA ones are awesome! My husband has had several and one on order for his new 6+. They hold up very well.

I'm a huge Magpul fan. I've used them since my 3GS.
Have you ever had much in the way of drops to know how they protect I just wondered since they weren't drop test rated like uag cases and others are

Yes, very good protection for the money. Not full Otterbox protection of course, but enough for the average user.

If you like to switch out your cases a lot, the Magpul is super easy to get on and off. UAG is tighter, particularly with the iPhone 6s Plus. Magpul also has a better grip, in my opinon. With the UAG cases, there are more and less grippy places--with the Magpul, everything is equally grippy. I have no idea about the drop protection of the Magpul--I've never dropped my phone in it--but it seems like it would do a good job protecting the phone. It feels comfortable and reliable. UAG has a flashier look to it, though, my teenage daughter points out...

Never used the UAG, but I just got a Magpul for my 6S+ today and I'm loving it so far. Fits like a glove, enough lip around the screen, perfect cutouts, click my buttons, and a relatively grippy feel all around. Very happy with it.

Magpul. Many unfortunate drops with the 6, never a blemish. Great fit and feel.

I agree with kgenova about the two cases, I have both. They are both great choices for a case. Both are grippy but in different ways. I believe both will provide good protection for most average needs. The buttons are very responsive with both. And like has been said, I also think the UAG is a little more stylish. You can pick up the Magpul for around $15 and the UAG for around $29 on sale through Amazon. As an added benefit, if you need or want a belt holster, the Seidio Dilex Pro holster works with both. Here's some pics for you.

Thanks are the overall dimensions about the same on both if they both fit that holster

Yes, both cases are pretty much the same size. I can't tell any difference in size by feel and they both fit in the holster I'm using equally well.

Did they redesign the Magpul buttons? I had one for my 5S and they were very stiff.

I never had one for the 5S, but on my 6+ the buttons work very easily. Very tactile response and can hear the button click as though they aren't even covered. The UAG case is ever so slightly stiffer but I just got it so that one may ease up with use, but they are still very responsive as well.

Any chance of posting a close up of the buttons on the Magpul?

I find the UAG to be a great case. Buttons are pretty responsive.

Could someone snap a picture showing how much lip is above the screen on the 6s plus
