I just deleted the console.log file by mistake in the app. Can I restore this?
Please help asap.
Thanks in advance

I don't think that this is important.
You were using the Console App, clicked logs, and then deleted the Console.log. Or am I wrong?

It should rebuild it's self. If you clicked Clear Log you just deleted the entries that were logged, and nothing bad should happen. Unless your working with an AppleCare tech. They may require those logs, but I can't see why.

If you were using the Terminal, did you use the rm command, and what permissions were you using?

Thanks, though is the "new" Lacero an editor also?

Editor of what? Neither Lac**o is/was an "editor" of MR.

Also, G99, please don't multi-post new threads. 1 Thread should be enough.

Refrence to the other Lacero's profession.

The log file is just a log file, anyway. A record of activity for your benefit. The system doesn't *need* it at all. It's there for you.
