hi everyone,

i found a version of ios7 that i could download onto my macbook and then restore with my iphone 4s. that didn't go too well; my phone wouldn't restore and i got the 3014 error. then i reinstalled itunes, and downloaded an ipsw for ios 6.1.3. this time i went back to itunes and plugged my phone in. i'm getting the same 3014 error. i tried going to my hosts file to see if there was anything there. there was nothing. this is an emergency please PLEASE help me ASAP. i need to find a way to restore my phone. itunes will not let me restore at all

thank you SO much everyone

I just had to do a DFU Restore back to 6.1.3 on my iPhone 4S that had the iOS 7 GM because I have to take my iPhone back to the Apple Store since my Sleep/Wake button barely works.

Anyway, I just followed the instructions on how to put the iPhone into DFU Recovery Mode on this video...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qajv9Q1p1R4

After you get it into DFU Recovery Mode iTunes will prompt you and it will install the latest version of iOS for your iPhone. In my case it was 6.1.3 for my AT&T iPhone 4S. After it installs iOS 6.1.x then it will reboot and then you can restore from your backup.

Hope that works for you.

Yes, your iPhone will stay dead, until iPhone OS 7 is released. Why did you ever install a beta anyway...

Edit - Well, unless you use another computer and your iPhone is set to DFU mode. Otherwise, good luck.
