iPhone4 Clock alarms

Just had my alarm go off an hour early. Anyone else experience this in the US?[/QUOTE]

I've experienced the same problems. The "recurring" suggestions is helpful as that is how I set up my alarms. I deleted all last night and reset a couple. My 745 went off at 645 and my 845 didn't go off at all. Will try again tonight w/o turning on the recurring function.

I'm using an iPhone 4 with version 4.1

It is surprising that Apple hasn't addressed this.

They DID address it, admitted there was a bug and indicated that 4.2 would provide a fix.

I'm actually having the same issue with my dang Palm Pre Plus! I use that phone for my alarm instead of my iPhone 4 since the alarm is so much louder and I'm a deep sleeper. I've had to resort to using my Nexus One now, but I'm still wondering if it'll fix itself. The clock randomly jumps an hour ahead and will sometimes revert back as well.

Here's a radical thought...it's just crazy enough to work though....why not use an ACTUAL alarm clock? (gasp!):D

Well then how would u feel if you got a new car and it wouldn't work like it's suppose to. Would you just say that's fine I can just walk where ever I have to go. Most people don't eve have a regular alarm clock no more why would they we have enough electronics to keep track of.

set my actual alarm clock and iPhone at 6AM. alarm went off at 6 AM but iphone did not go off till 7AM, going to try 5AM with iphone see if this works.

mine is set to Monday-Friday

I'm pissed, I missed my morning class today because my alarm rang 1 hour late. It rang at 7:15am instead of 6:15am. The alarm is set to go off every Monday and wednesday.

None of my alarms went off at all yesterday or today. So this morning I deleted all the alarms, turned off the iPhone for a few minutes and turned it back on. Then I put my alarms back in. We'll see if it works tomorrow.

Good thing my cat knows what time I am supposed to be up as he always wakes me when I choose to oversleep!

Add me to the list in the U.S.:

Alarm is set for weekdays at 4:25AM.

Went off this morning at 5:25AM.

Did not have a previous issue about it going off an hour earlier.

I deleted all my alarms and set a new one AND a test one for later this morning.

It got me as well (Canada)

I just happened to wake up 9 minutes after my alarm should have gone off...

Edit: and my alarm just went off, an hour after it should have.

It only affects repeat alarms, single event alarms still work correctly.

Deleting and creating a new repeat alarm doesn't fix it, just set it to go off one hour early until 4.2 is released.

Woke up well before my alarm should have gone off, only for my alarm to then go off an hour later on a silent bus full of people. Slightly embarrassing. Looking forward to seeing which of my colleagues fail to make it to work on time because of this.

My alarm went off one hour later than usual yesterday. I set it to go off today to repeat never and it was fine. The recurring M-F is the problem and hopefully will be fixed soon.

Lucky for me my iPhone is my back up. Alarm was set for 6:30 alarm went of at 7:30. Time via AT&T carrier was correct so I can't blame them on this one. Alarm didn't recognize the time from the carrier. I have several alarms for different events in the day. I guess each is going to be a hour late. Nice way to go Apple.

Hour late today.

Time seems to be a complicated task for Apple. And antennas.

Pissed at who? Yourself? I surely hope so since the responsibility for you waking up is your own, not Apple, not their phone, not an alarm clock, not the alarm clock manufacturer, not your roommate, parents, dog, the train outside, shall I go on?

Unless you're blessed with some sort of internal alarm clock we all depend on devices to wake us up. I wasn't even aware of this issue until this morning, and I doubt I'm the only one.

I almost missed my train, going to work.

Apple has difficulty programming an alarm clock. Steve Job had problem getting a new liver for himself (I am sure that he didn't use Apple product for timekeeping when he was buying and getting a liver installed in his body).

But, they have never had problem collecting money from unemployed Americans who lost jobs due to either their product causing them late in going to work or their moving the jobs to China for slave labor.

Shameless!!!

I had one of my alarms on the iPhone 4 go off at the correct time but the other went off an hour late. Luckily I have a backup alarm by my bedside so it was no an issue.

it's only reasonable for Steve Job to return the liver that he used this ill-gotten money to buy.

Luckily my internal body clock woke me up for once this morning. I imagine my iPhone alarm would have went off at 7:45am, but I turned the alarm off since I'm off tomorrow. Thanks Apple!
