US Apple store is down!

Aussie store is still up. Usually, if it's a big update, the US store is the last to go down. 🙁
 
Very strange. When I tried to go to the store Safari said this:

"Your browser sent a message this server could not understand."

Actually the Aussie store was still up when Nano 1GB was released.
 
just saying the macbook pro is now shipping and battry life info.

i got that too a few times when i refereshed
 
Yeah I bet is just ends up saying now shipping. Or something like that. Would be nice to see come MacBooks or minis though.
 
No news, reuters just flashed apple begins shipping macbook pro, and apple to open retail store in hingham mass on sat.
 
I do believe that they will just say that the MBP's are shipping like everyone said above but it would be really cool if they did release something new today.
 
Dang, they just upped the processor speeds for high-end MBPs.
I'm gonna call them and see if I can get an updated version instead.

You MUST BE FREAKING KIDDING ME!!! They upped the speed before they ship out the first batch!!! That's total BS!!!

Why would that be. If you ordered the top of the line MBP they should upgarde you to the newest one.
 
When did the MBP get 2.0 and 2.16 Dual Cores?

Oh as noted above, the reason for the site being down
 
they are probably pgrading the ones people ordered. but i find it funnty that they created the rev b's before the rev a's even shipped.

Didn't see that they were upgrading all orders thought they just were upgrading new ones 😱

I can't believe they did that either. They also made it possible to update it to 2.16 Ghz. I was wondering when they announced them how come they didn't use those chips but now I guess they are.
