this is the one i used and worked perfect. I had someone else do it and hers worked also.

1. Go to Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars
2. Under Accounts, tap Add Account
3. Tap Other
4. Under Calendars, tap Add Subscribed Calendar
5. In the Server box, type http://ical.mac.com/ical/US32Holidays.ics
6. Tap Next
7. Tap Save (no other entries needed)
 
is everyone that is posting suggestions on a 4s? I have tried everything but nothing is working. Yes, the links/sources are working BUT it is not showing up on the actual calender.
 
can you post a screen shot of your calender app settings AND your general settings because this isnt working in the calender app -- are you on a 4s?

no problem.........I just got this phone so I hadn't fiddled with the calendar app at all. saw this thread, followed Sulten's intructions a BAM!!!! we have holidays...:D


and yes, I'm on a 4S...

Yeah I have your exact settings so IDK why its not working I give up not that important i'll just stick with the old fashion day planner
