Oh man! I am bummed to hear your iPhone will be on the top when the plane hits turbulence and it topples off and cracks the screen on the cargo bay floor. But it’s okay there’s always another time! 😛

To check UPS - go on their website and track by reference. I used my phone number. 10 digits. No “1” or Dashes. Just area code and number.

I've found that lately these Apple deliveries don't let you select a 2 hr delivery window anymore. Let me know if you do get the option though.

I used to be able to select the window for previous phone deliveries and it was great because that way I didn't have to sit around the house all day long. But I wasn't able to do so for the Series 3 watch, nor (so far) the iPhone X.

That stinks! I’ll keep an eye on it and let you know if I eventually get the option. Looks like I’ll be pre-signing with Apple once that option is available online.

I don’t want to have to sit around the house all day as well. Just so happens that I took Friday off. Otherwise, I would of worked from home and waited for package while I worked.

I checked my tracking and it say delivery on 11/3/17, but it also says updated and tentative (see pic). What does that mean?

You do know they don’t let you select an earlier time in my experience, only later windows. So you can’t get it delivered earlier only later.
 
Mine is still hanging Order in Progress so I called Apple. They referred me to my carrier which can only mean there is an upgrade eligibility issue. There was no email from Apple or AT&T directing me to call. Now have a sinking feeling I'm not going to see a delivery on Friday if it hasn't shipped yet...

This was helpful. I was able to get my tracking info this way. I don't know why Apple has not changed the status to "shipped" yet but it is definitely on its way. For the Reference I put my phone number without any dashes or spaces.

Great! And don’t worry.

I think this year they are doing a bulk of the holding in China. In the past they ship all the phones over to KY or TN to hold at the UPS/Fedex hubs and overnight from there the day before.

My guess is mid-week they will start their trips statesward and on our doorsteps Friday. There is plenty of time for the shipments to happen, I mean they could just overnight from China on Thursday and still make it.
 
I suspect that the wait might be because the GM of 11.1 hasn't officially shipped yet. I'm betting it'll be released to devs today, and Apple will update all the iPhone X firmware first -- THEN it'll go onto the airplane for delivery.

Wonder if our phones will be travel buddies. I looks like your has been sitting a lot longer than mine.

Mine has been sitting in ZhengZhou, China for a couple days now. I've been refreshing the tracking page every few hours but no new info to report. Our phones will all likely trickle over stateside by Wednesday and then sit securely at WorldPort for a couple days until it's time for launch.

Same for me. Apple.com says preparing to ship... UPS reference tracking - I see that it has been shipped and is in China with 11/3 delivery date...

I found a promo code online.

May not matter because David R above said that these Apple’s deliveries don’t let you select a 2 hour delivery window as of late...

I get enough shipments that $4/4 months was worth it..
