Hi All,

I have an "audiobox" audio interface manufactured by Presonis and have a weird thing happening. It is connected to my Intel i-Mac (OSX 10.5.7) and works perfectly except for one very annoying problem. When my Mac sleeps or is rebooted, the Audio interface is not detected and I need to restart it by pulling and reinserting the usb cable. I have used system preferences to select the device as the default, but it won't "stick"

Any suggestions would be most welcome.

I had a similar problem with my Altec-Lansing USB speakers, but it was only on reboot. Sleep was fine. I never did figure out the problem, but it looks like it was the Altecs. I now have a Yamaha, and it stays connected through reboots.

edit: guess that wasn't much help, but at least you know it happens with other devices
